Refund Policy

Disclaimer

At Chef Derricka Culinary Concepts, we are committed to providing exceptional personal chef services, private dining, boutique catering, and cooking experiences across the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. Our goal is to ensure every client receives a seamless, elevated, and memorable culinary experience.

1. Booking and Retainer Policy

  • All services require a signed agreement and retainer to secure your date.

  • Deposits/Retainers are non-refundable, as they cover scheduling, menu planning, staffing, and ingredient sourcing.

2. Service Cancellation

Rescheduling requests are accommodated based on availability and may incur a service adjustment fee. Cancellation requests are to be made in writing and forfeits any payments made as well as incur a cancellation fee.

3. Grocery and Ingredient Purchases

  • Grocery costs are reimbursed separately and are not included in service rates. (This is applicable for private dining and daily/weekly personal chef services only)

  • Once groceries are purchased for your event, they are non-refundable. Receipts are provided for transparency.

4. Service Satisfaction

  • We strive for excellence in every aspect of our service. If a service does not meet agreed-upon standards, please notify us within 24 hours of service completion.

  • We will work to address concerns promptly, which may include partial refunds, credits, or corrective measures where applicable at the company's discretion.

5. Exceptions

  • Refunds are not provided for changes in taste preferences or textures, dietary choices not communicated in advance, or last-minute modifications requested after the menu and service have been finalized.

  • We reserve the right to refuse service or cancel bookings due to safety concerns, kitchen conditions, or unforeseen circumstances.

6. Contract & Service Agreement

  • All services booked with Chef Derricka Culinary Concepts require a signed contract/service agreement, which is legally binding.

  • The agreement outlines your selected services, menu, pricing, scheduling, and any special instructions.

  • By signing the agreement, you acknowledge and accept the terms, including retainers, cancellations, grocery reimbursements, and service expectations.

  • This document protects both the client and Chef Derricka Culinary Concepts, ensuring clarity, accountability, and legal recourse if either party fails to meet the agreed terms.

  • Any disputes or claims will be resolved per the agreement and applicable Texas law.
