Welcome to Chef Derricka Culinary Concepts. By accessing this website, submitting an inquiry, or booking any personal chef, private dining, catering, cooking classes, or culinary services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before engaging our services.

Services Overview

Chef Derricka Culinary Concepts provides:

 

  • In-home personal chef services

  • Private dining experiences

  • Boutique drop-off catering

  • Cooking classes and culinary education

  • Travel chef services

  • Menu consulting and wellness-focused culinary experiences

 

All services are customized and subject to availability, scheduling, and confirmation.

Booking & Reservations

  • All bookings require written confirmation and a signed service agreement.

  • A non-refundable deposit/retainer is required to secure your date.

  • Final guest counts and menu selections must be confirmed by the stated deadline.

  • Changes requested after confirmation may incur additional charges.

Payments & Fees

  • Full payment is due prior to service.

  • Accepted payment methods include invoice-based electronic payments.

  • Additional costs may apply for last-minute changes, special requests, venue logistics, or extended service time.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Cancellations made within the stated cancellation window may result in forfeiture of deposits/retainers or payments due to advance labor, food sourcing, and staffing commitments.

  • Rescheduling requests are subject to availability and may incur additional fees.

Dietary Restrictions & Allergies

Clients are responsible for disclosing all allergies, dietary needs, and restrictions prior to service. While every effort is made to accommodate dietary preferences and food sensitivities, Chef Derricka Culinary Concepts cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

Kitchen Access & Venue Conditions

Clients must provide safe, clean, and functional kitchen access, including adequate refrigeration, power, and water. Any venue restrictions or limitations must be disclosed in advance.

Staffing & Equipment

Staffing needs, service style, and equipment requirements are determined during the planning process. Additional staffing, rentals, or specialty equipment may incur additional costs.

Travel & Off-Site Services

Travel chef services may require transportation, lodging, and per diem fees, which will be outlined in advance and billed accordingly.

Food Safety & Leftovers

Once food has been served or delivered, Chef Derricka Culinary Concepts is not responsible for improper storage, handling, or reheating. Leftovers are not guaranteed and must be ordered in advance at the client’s discretion.

Intellectual Property

All website content, menus, branding, images, recipes, and written materials are the property of Chef Derricka Culinary Concepts and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.

Photography & Marketing

Unless otherwise requested in writing, Chef Derricka Culinary Concepts reserves the right to photograph dishes, events, and setups for marketing and promotional purposes without identifying clients.

Limitation of Liability

Chef Derricka Culinary Concepts shall not be held liable for damages, injuries, or losses arising from service execution beyond the scope of contracted services.

Website Use

Use of this website constitutes agreement not to misuse, copy, or disrupt site content, functionality, or security.

Policy Updates

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services or website constitutes acceptance of updated terms. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
